This shore excursion is organized around the time available during your cruise stop in Bahrain. The order of the visits may vary depending on opening hours, traffic, local events or operational requirements, while keeping the return to the port as a priority.
Al Fateh Grand Mosque
The first stop is Al Fateh Grand Mosque, the largest mosque in Bahrain and one of the Kingdom's main places of worship. During the visit, you'll have the opportunity to learn more about Islamic culture and discover its impressive architecture, created using materials sourced from different parts of the world.
Important: on Fridays, the mosque is reserved for prayer and guided visits inside are not available. Access may also be unavailable during public holidays, special events or extraordinary closures. In these cases, the stop will take place outside the mosque, with time to admire the architecture and take photographs.
Bahrain Fort
We'll continue to Qal'at al Bahrain, one of the country's most important archaeological sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Closely connected to the ancient Dilmun civilization, the site offers an insight into the long history of Bahrain and the civilizations that developed on the island over the centuries.
Bab Al Bahrain & Manama Souq
We'll then reach the historic heart of the capital, around Bab Al Bahrain and the traditional Manama Souq. You'll have time to explore the market, browse shops, spices, perfumes, fabrics and local products, with the guide available for suggestions and assistance.
Bahrain World Trade Center
We'll make a short photo stop at the Bahrain World Trade Center, whose distinctive twin towers and integrated wind turbines have become one of the most recognizable features of Manama's modern skyline.
The Avenues & Bahrain Bay
The tour continues to The Avenues and the Bahrain Bay waterfront, where you'll have some free time to walk along the promenade, relax, shop or stop at one of the cafés and restaurants overlooking the bay.
Optional Extra: If selected when booking, you can also enjoy an approximately 20 minute boat ride around Bahrain Bay and see Manama's skyline from the water.

Where do I meet the guide after leaving the ship?
After disembarking, take the port shuttle to the Taxi Station. Our team will be waiting for you there. The exact meeting time and instructions will be sent via WhatsApp before the tour.
Will I be back at the port in time for my ship?
Yes. The excursion is specifically organized around cruise schedules, and the return to the port is always planned at least one hour before your ship's scheduled departure.
What happens if my ship arrives late or disembarkation takes longer than expected?
We will adapt the tour whenever possible. Some stops may be shortened, changed or, if necessary, omitted in order to keep the return to the port as the priority.
What happens if my cruise ship cancels the stop in Bahrain?
If your cruise ship cancels its scheduled call in Bahrain, you will receive a 100% refund, excluding transaction fees.
Can I visit Al Fateh Grand Mosque on a Friday?
On Fridays, the mosque is reserved for prayer and guided visits inside are not available. The stop will therefore take place outside, with time to admire the architecture and take photographs.
What should I wear to visit Al Fateh Grand Mosque?
Men should wear long trousers and keep their shoulders covered. Women may wear their own abaya or a long, modest dress that covers the arms and legs and does not have a low neckline, together with a headscarf. Mosque staff may still require visitors to wear the abaya provided by the mosque. Abayas and head coverings for women and thobes for men are available to borrow during the visit. Even though suitable clothing is available at the mosque, we recommend arriving dressed respectfully and appropriately for a place of worship. The dress code applies only to the visit inside the mosque.
Is the Bahrain Bay boat trip included?
No. The boat trip is optional and can be added separately when booking. It is subject to availability and the time available during the shore excursion.
